How is the Academic Momentum Curriculum different than what teachers are currently doing in schools?

In most elementary classrooms College & Career Readiness units are based on each individual teachers experiences and resources and are not consistent throughout the school. The Academic Momentum Curriculum builds each year 5th – 8th grades, providing a smooth transition of information.

  • Grade 5 - What I like + What I’m Good at = Career Opportunities
  • Grade 6 - Why is College Important?
  • Grade 7 - Financing Your Future
  • Grade 8 - Interests, Academic Skills, High School Transitions
  • Grade 9 - Success 101
